Ok, even though this wasn’t the best gig ever, I have to make it clear that I am not a 2hollis hater unlike Oscar and Jack! There really is room for hyperpop? in my listening.

I had never heard of 2hollis before, but there was a cheap ticket going spare and it had been yonks since I’d seen Zack.

So we hopped in Jack’s car and went.

My thoughts were that if we had food before the venue, it would be easier not to feel tired listening to songs I’ve never heard before. Don’t get me wrong: I love hearing new music, but on an empty stomach can breach your enthusiasm.

The scene around 2hollis is actually quite remarkable. Fairly normal looking lads and alternative emos unite. The one thing everyone has in common is that they’re really fucking annoying.

I’m being too harsh there, we met lot’s of lovely people – and it was nice to see the room full of waves of dancing.

So, what do I give the gig itself? That’s a hard question when I don’t know the music. I think a 6/10 would be fitting, given that pints were £8 and pepsi was £2.50 for a cup that mostly consists of ice.
