We played a gig in Manchester the other day. It was sick.
Lots of good friends dotted about Manchester came to see it happen which I was over the moon about. It was a good opportunity to practice stagemanship in which I told everyone that Sheffield was ‘Manchester but better’.
The room we were in was sick! The complex was vertically unique: a pub on the upper floor with the venue room being upstairs. The sound was good from where I was stood; the monitors were nailed down. The other members couldn’t quite hear very well sometimes. Anyway, here’s to cute rooms in cute buildings with cute people ; )
